RLS-YY Policy

RLS Youth Yards (RLS-YY) is a digital news and youth empowerment platform committed to publishing reliable, timely, and ethically sourced news from leading national and international media. This document defines the editorial standards, sourcing rules, ethical commitments, and user obligations that govern everything published on RLS-YY.

Our motto — Truth. Youth. Transformation. — guides every editorial decision. We aim to inform readers with integrity, empower young voices through publishing opportunities, and foster constructive dialogue around the issues that shape Bangladesh and the world.

RLS-YY aggregates content via public RSS feeds and authorized APIs from established media outlets. All aggregated stories include the original source name, publication time, and a direct link back to the publisher. We do not republish full articles without permission and we always credit the originating outlet.

We use automated deduplication to avoid showing the same story multiple times, and our system prioritizes the most authoritative source when multiple outlets cover the same event.

We strive for accuracy in every story. If we publish content that contains a factual error, we will correct it as soon as possible and make the correction visible to readers. Readers may report errors via redlovesociety@gmail.com.

RLS-YY operates independently of any political party, religious organization, or commercial interest. Our editorial choices are not dictated by advertisers, sponsors, or external pressure. Opinion pieces and analysis are clearly labeled and separated from straight news reporting.

RLS-YY welcomes independent writers, researchers, and contributors. Submitted articles must be original, factually accurate, and free of plagiarism, hate speech, or defamation. Our editorial team reviews every submission before publication and reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove any content that violates this policy.

Bachelor's-level students may submit research papers via our low-cost academic publishing program. All submissions are subject to editorial review and academic integrity checks.

We collect only the minimum personal information needed to operate the platform — primarily account email addresses and bookmarks. We never sell user data. Newsletter subscribers may opt out at any time. Authentication and stored data are protected with industry-standard encryption and row-level security policies.

Readers engaging with RLS-YY content are expected to maintain civil, respectful discourse. We prohibit hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing, and the spread of disinformation. Violations may result in removal of content and suspension of accounts.

All original RLS-YY content — including original articles, photography, graphics, and the RLS-YY brand — is protected by copyright. Aggregated headlines and excerpts remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers. Republication of RLS-YY original work requires written permission.

Any advertising or sponsored content on RLS-YY will be clearly marked as such. Sponsorships do not influence our editorial judgement or news selection.

RLS-YY does not knowingly publish content harmful to minors. Reporting on sensitive subjects — violence, crime, tragedy — is conducted with care for the dignity of victims and their families.

Individuals or organizations who believe RLS-YY has published inaccurate or unfair content about them may submit a right-of-reply request to redlovesociety@gmail.com. We commit to reviewing such requests promptly and in good faith.

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or editorial standards. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage and noted at the top of this page.
